Location Information

Car Clinc may access precise device location when you use location-dependent features, including finding nearby mechanics, selecting or saving a service location, receiving nearby job requests, and supporting location sharing during an active service job.

Car Clinc does not request Android background-location permission for continuous background tracking. Location access is requested when needed for app functionality and is subject to your device permissions.

Photos and Uploaded Content

Customers may upload vehicle or issue-related images and other content to help mechanics understand a service request.

Jobs, Offers and Service Records

We may process service requests, job details, offers, counter-offers, accepted jobs, job status, pricing, completion information, and related service history.

Messages and Communications

Messages exchanged through Car Clinc between customers and mechanics may be processed and stored to provide in-app communication and maintain service-related records.

Reviews and Ratings

We may collect and store ratings, reviews, and feedback submitted in connection with completed services.

Earnings, Transactions and Withdrawals

For mechanics, we may process earnings records, transaction history, and withdrawal requests necessary to provide payment-related features.

Notification Preferences

We may store preferences related to job alerts, chat alerts, payment updates, and other app notifications.

Technical and Security Information

We may process limited technical information required for app operation, authentication, security, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and service reliability.

• create, verify, authenticate, and secure user accounts;
• connect customers with mechanics and provide location-based service features;
• process service requests, offers, jobs, messages, reviews, earnings, and withdrawals;
• send job, chat, account, transaction, and service notifications;

3. Location Permissions

Location is used only when a feature requires it. You may deny or revoke location access through your device settings. Some nearby-service or tracking features may not work correctly without location permission.

4. Notifications

Car Clinc may display notifications relating to jobs, offers, messages, service updates, transactions, withdrawals, reviews, and account activity. You can control notification permissions through your device settings and, where available, through Car Clinc settings.

5. How We Share Information

Car Clinc does not sell personal information to advertisers. Information may be shared where necessary to operate the service, including between customers and mechanics for a service request, with technical service providers, or when required by law.

6. Third-Party Services

Car Clinc may use third-party services for maps, location, hosting, communications, analytics, or infrastructure. Car Clinc uses Google Maps-related services for map and location functionality.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and security records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and protect the platform.

Some records may be retained after account deletion where required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, or transaction-record purposes.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet-based service or electronic storage method can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information. You may also manage app permissions and notification settings through your device.
