Car Clinc users may request deletion of their account and personal information associated with that account.
Important: Deleting your account may permanently remove access to your profile and related services. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution, or transaction-record purposes.
How to Request Account Deletion
- Send an email requesting deletion of your Car Clinc account.
- Use the subject line Car Clinc Account Deletion Request.
- Include your registered mobile number and whether your account is a Customer or Mechanic.
- Send the request to support@carclinc.com.
- Car Clinc may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request.
Data We May Delete
- account and profile information;
- stored contact information associated with the account;
- saved service-location information;
- user-uploaded issue images where deletion is technically and legally permitted;
- notification preferences and account settings; and
- other personal information that is no longer required to provide or protect the service.
Data That May Be Retained
- completed job and transaction records;
- earnings and withdrawal records;
- records required for accounting, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution;
- security and abuse-prevention records; and
- information needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Processing Time
We will review verified deletion requests and process them within a reasonable period, subject to applicable legal requirements and any necessary retention obligations.
